Website Article

Do I need a website?

The short answer is yes. (Of course I'm going to say this, I'm a web designer.) But decide for yourself.

This is the information age. Companies that don't have a website, don't have one because they:
Are a new company
Feel they already have enough business
Think they are too small.
Never needed one before, why now?
Just haven't got around to it
Don't think they need one.

This kind of reasoning may be hurting your company.

Here's why: Many companies may think a website would only help them in marketing and advertising. The truth is, websites can do much more than that. They can:
Provide information to the clients you already have.
Give your company credibility.
Convey your company's image and mission
Provide interactivity between you and your customers
Provide an easier way to purchase products and services
Have no sales pressure!
Be more convenient, available, up to date, and faster than printed media.
And yes, they help with advertising and marketing too

A rising number of your customers and potential customers are turning to the internet for most or all of their information needs. If you are not on the bandwagon, know that your competition probably is.

Here's the bottom line, if you don't have a website, you are losing business. Not just because potential customers can't find you online, but because your current customers are turning to your competitors who cater to their customers' needs.
